Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania has a long history of providing compassionate, unbiased post-abortion counseling to women in our community. Since 1974, we have offered one-on-one counseling, and we’re now proud to introduce post-abortion counseling in a support group setting. PPWP understands the feelings of sadness and relief that can sometimes occur after an abortion. Sometimes friends and family don't understand what you're feeling, or don't know how to best support you. Whether you had an abortion 30 years ago, or 3 days ago-we want to offer our support. PPWP offers a safe space for you to discuss your feelings and connect with other women in similar situations. PPWP's post-abortion support group will offer an alternative to political/religious-based post-abortion counseling. We are proud to provide unbiased, non-judgmental emotional support.
