The 19th Annual Indoor Triathlon/Biathlon is scheduled for Thursday, November 8, 2007 and will run from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Westin Workout located in the Westin Hotel & Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh. The object of this benefit is to compete in a 500 yard swim or 2000 meter row, 4 mile Airdyne bike ride and a 2 mile run on the treadmill. Other events are also offered. Plaques and gift certificates are awarded to the top corporate teams and individuals. The proceeds go towards blood-cancer research and patient aid. The Society’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s Disease, and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families. The Society provides funding for various programs to support leukemia research and local patient aid. You may register at www.active.com.
