Friendly Drum Teacher seeking Drum Students of all ages; especially kids in the school band or younger. Instruction is available on Snare Drum or Drum Set. Hand Drum Instruction is also available (Congas, Bongos). Parents, please realize that virtually ALL band directors recommend private drum lessons for drum students. Believe me, your child's band director would love to be able to spend more individual time with every kid in the band; but band directors just don't have the time. Also, realize that the only equipment that beginning drummers need is a drum pad, drumsticks, and the lesson book. You don't need to go out and buy a drum set. Ages 6 and up. Very often children who are younger do well with private drum lessons. As with anything, as long as the students practice they will see results no matter what age they are!
